Road marking services in Qatar
Eleven road marking services, each with its own specification page, delivered by the same crews and equipment. Choose a service to see materials, thickness, drying times, standards and what affects the price — or browse all road marking services.
Hot-applied lane lines, edge lines, arrows, chevrons and crossings for highways and main roads — the longest-lasting option under heavy traffic.
Fast-drying, water-based cold paint for internal roads, compounds, cycle lanes and sites that must reopen within the hour.
Two-component methyl methacrylate for junctions, box junctions, coloured bus and cycle lanes and anti-skid surfacing.
Bay lines, numbering, arrows, disabled bays, forklift lanes, walkways, hatching and green EV charging bays.
Hopscotch, number grids, mini road layouts and sports courts in non-slip, UV-stable materials for schools and nurseries.
Water-blasting and grinding to remove old, faded or incorrect markings without scarring the road surface.
Runway, taxiway, holding position and apron markings applied inside airside closure windows to aviation dimensions.
Supply and installation of reflective aluminium and ceramic studs (cat’s eyes) at the correct spacing and colour code.
Coloured surfacing, bicycle symbols, arrows and separators for Doha’s growing cycle network.
Regulatory, warning, directional and site safety signs to Qatar sizes and reflectivity grades, supplied with posts and fixings.
Seamless, chemical-resistant epoxy floors for basement car parks, warehouses and workshops — coating and bays in one visit.
Eighteen specialist services — firestop, fireproofing, GRP lining, concrete coring, FM200 testing and more — on one page.
Which material?
Most road marking enquiries in Qatar come down to one decision: how long must the line last, and how quickly must the road reopen? Hot-applied thermoplastic is the default for highways, main roads, roundabouts and anything carrying heavy traffic. Applied at 2–3 mm with drop-on glass beads, it gives the retro-reflectivity night driving needs and typically outlasts paint several times over in Qatar’s heat and sand abrasion.
Acrylic cold paint is the economical choice for internal roads, compounds, car parks and cycle lanes. It dries to traffic in minutes, is low-odour and water-based, and is easy to refresh on a maintenance cycle. MMA cold plastic is the premium two-component system for junctions, coloured lanes and anti-skid surfacing — it bonds chemically to the asphalt or concrete, holds colour for years and is the specification of choice where high-friction or coloured surfacing is called for.
Whatever the material, the line only lasts if the basics are right: a clean, dry surface, correct application temperature, consistent film thickness and the right bead loading. Our engineers confirm all of this on the free site visit and record it on handover, together with the material data sheets that consultants ask for during submittal review.
Not sure which specification applies to your project? Read our guide to thermoplastic vs cold paint road marking in Qatar, or send us the drawings and we will recommend the material line by line.
Why UniGulf Traffic
Thermoplastic pre-heaters and screed applicators, airless spray line stripers, bead dispensers and removal equipment are ours — no waiting on hired plant.
Crews are set up for lane closures, night works and airside or live-traffic sites where the marking window is a few hours, not a few days.
A decade of highways, car parks, airports and industrial sites in Qatar heat, dust and traffic — and the materials that survive it.
Every quotation is broken down by line type, length or area, material and mobilisation so QS teams can compare and approve it quickly.
How we work
An engineer measures the site, checks the surface condition, confirms the layout against your drawings or the QCS/Ashghal standard and agrees access, traffic management and working hours.
Traffic control is placed, old or faded lines are removed if required, and the surface is cleaned, dried and primed where the material specification calls for it.
Markings are set out and applied with our own machines — thermoplastic, cold paint or MMA — with glass beads dropped on for retro-reflectivity and thickness checked during the run.
Dimensions, colour, thickness and reflectivity are checked, snags are closed the same visit, and you receive a handover with material data sheets for your submittal file.
Recent work
Highway lane lines, roundabouts, basement car parks, warehouse floors, airport aprons and industrial access roads — every project is set out from approved drawings, applied by our own crews and inspected before handover.
